From Margins to File Formats

Each of these tutorials cover one aspect of several of the common steps you'll take to create a desktop publishing document. Start with the margins then get your columns the right size. Put in some big, bold headlines and some small, but attractive photo captions. Then, dip into the EPS file format either because you need to or because it's simply good to know.

It was once considered the best choice of graphics format for high resolution printing of illustrations. Even if you don't expect to use EPS very often, it's a good format to know about.
