Use Objects Not Letters in Your Type Projects | Some letters are easy to replace with shapes or objects. Throw in a baseball or a Frisbee for the letter O. But what shape can stand in easily for K? If you catch a lot of the special Google artwork you'll see plenty of examples of shape and object substitutions for G, o, l, and e. Generally speaking though, you'll probably only want to do one or two substitutions at a time in your typographic compositions. | | | |
