From Gary Newell, your Guide to Linux

When I first started writing for About.com I wrote many articles about Ubuntu because it is a great Linux distribution for beginners and more experienced Linux users to use.

It is hard to keep writing about Ubuntu without mentioning Linux Mint and so for the past few weeks I have written a number of articles about Linux Mint.

This newsletter therefore is all about Linux Mint and includes reasons why you would use Linux Mint over Windows 8.1 and why you would use Linux Mint over Ubuntu.

There is also a Cinnamon Desktop Customization guide and as an added bonus a list of 11 Linux terminal commands that will rock your world.
